- Do you have experience supporting children with Autism, non-verbal communication needs, or Social, Emotional and Mental Health challenges? _A warm and inclusive primary school in Aston is seeking a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team within a specialist provision.
**Your Role**:
- Provide consistent 1:1 or small group support to pupils with ASD, non-verbal needs and SEMH
- Use visual aids, PECS or Makaton (if trained) to aid communication
- Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Work closely with class teachers and SENCO to deliver personalised interventions
- Help create a safe, structured and supportive learning environment

- Experience supporting children with ASD, non-verbal communication or SEMH
- A patient and empathetic approach to complex needs
- Confidence in managing behaviour and emotional needs positively
