**_ Qualifications and Skills:_**
- **_ Educational Background: _**Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- **_ Experience: _**Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in the automotive industry with a focus on BIW processes.
- **_ Technical Expertise:_** Proficiency in programming and operating PLCs, robotics, and other automation systems. Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- **_ Project Management Skills: _**Strong project management skills, with experience leading complex automation projects.
- **_ Analytical Skills:_** Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- **_ Communication Skills:_** Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- **_ Attention to Detail: _**High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of the role.
- **_ Adaptability:_** Ability to adapt to changing technologies and processes, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
**_ Key Responsibilities:_**
- **_ Automation Integration_**: Develop, implement, and optimize automation solutions for the BIW process, including robotics, PLCs, and other automated systems.
- **_ Project Management: _**Lead and coordinate automation projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets,



and quality standards are met.
- **_ Process Improvement:_** Continuously analyze and improve BIW processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- **_ Technical Support:_** Provide technical expertise and support to the manufacturing team, troubleshooting and resolving automation-related issues.
- **_ Training and Development:_** Conduct training sessions for staff on new automation technologies and processes, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- **_ Documentation:_** Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation systems, processes, and procedures, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- **_ Collaboration: _**Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure the successful integration of automation technologies.
**_ Working Conditions_**
The Body in White Process Local Technology Specialist (LTS), Automation Engineer will primarily work in a manufacturing environment, with occasional travel required for training, collaboration with other facilities, and attendance at industry conferences. The role demands a high level of physical activity, including standing, walking, and interacting with machinery and equipment.
**Job Type**:Onsite - temporary contract until December 31th, with possible extention depending the performance.
**Work Location**:Monterrey
**Salary**:$69,000 gross.
