We are looking for a Sr. Industrial Engineer to drive efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement across our packing operations. This role ensures smooth performance for both current and new products, while actively supporting local and global initiatives.
NPI & Engineering team ensures that our equipment and production processes fully align with LEGO requirements for safety, reliability, product quality, and confidentiality.
**The department is organized into three main areas**:
- Process Engineering
- Industrial Engineering & NPI
- Project Management
Together, we define production processes, lead the introduction of new products, support the installation and validate new equipment to support growth, support operational areas, and manage the layout of our manufacturing sites.
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Ensure smooth performance of both existing and new products in manufacturing operations.
- Lead and support standardization initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
- Analyze and improve headcount and output while maintaining routing efficiency.
- Provide production support, including troubleshooting and process optimization.
- Secure alignment between Work descriptions (LPS) and routings (SAP).
- Implement and follow up on engineering changes.
- Drive and actively participate in improvement projects.
- Develop, maintain and follow up reports and metrics for decision-making.
- Benchmark with other sites to identify the best practices and drive continuous improvement and alignment.
- Represent Local IE in global projects and foster collaboration across functions.
- Create and maintain procedures to standardize and sustain processes.




- Act as a Brickmate for new colleagues and promote knowledge sharing.
- Take ownership of at least one critical IE process and LCI tool.
**What we are looking for?**
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a structured and self-directed approach.
- Proven experience in process optimization, project management and continuous improvement.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in both local and general team settings.
- Proficiency in SAP, reporting tools and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean/Six sigma preferred).
- Solid skills in Microsoft Office, Minitab and Power BI.
- Experience in people leadership, project and stakeholder management.
- Finance knowledge in costing and budgeting is an advantage.
- **Note: This position is based at our LEGO NL manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores. This is not a remote position.**
