We are seeking a highly motivated **Senior Scala Developer**to join our team.
In this role, you will focus on implementing solutions to maintain and optimize inventory tracking functionality, with a strong emphasis on read/write performance in MySQL, scalability, and the stability of our core Inventory microservice built with Scala. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects in a collaborative and innovative environment.

- Develop scalable and maintainable software with a focus on testability and extensibility
- Engage in technical discussions to explore and design new solutions and architectures
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality standards and continuous improvement

- Make technical decisions that align with quality, availability, and security goals
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in software development with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions
- Strong understanding of programming principles, with the ability to choose the right tools and patterns for specific challenges
- Passion for creating exceptional software experiences through well-written, efficient code
- Enjoy working within a collaborative team environment focused on delivering customer-centric products
- Expertise in Scala with experience using and building GraphQL and REST APIs
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and tackle complex problems
- Highly proactive and results-driven, with strong critical thinking skills
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher
**Nice to have**
- Experience designing and building high-throughput, resilient systems
- Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana




- Understanding of data normalization and denormalization principles, including challenges around asynchronous data projections
- Experience working with PHP or TypeScript
