ISP Monitor Role Profile
Purpose of Role
The School Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and appropriate behavior of students during school hours and activities. This role supports the smooth operation of daily routines by supervising students in common areas, assisting with transitions, and promoting a respectful and orderly school environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise students during arrival, recess, lunch, and dismissal times to ensure safety and good behavior.
- Monitor hallways, playgrounds, cafeterias, and other common areas.




- Support teachers and administrative staff in maintaining discipline and a positive school atmosphere.
- Assist in organizing and managing student lines, transitions, and transportation routines.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or disciplinary issues to the appropriate authority.
- Provide assistance to students when needed, ensuring their physical and emotional safety.
- Help maintain cleanliness and order in school areas.
- Support school events and activities as required.

Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma required; additional training or coursework in education or child supervision is an advantage.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred.
- Basic knowledge of first aid is desirable.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish is a plus.
