**What's the Opportunity**:
We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-focused International Business Manager to lead our expansion into Mexico. As the first in-country leader, you will design and implement a comprehensive market entry strategy, balancing a combination of local partnerships and direct team development. You will establish our commercial, operational, and support footprint while shaping the foundation for long-term growth. You'll have an outsized influence on our growth trajectory in Latin America, building a market presence from the ground up, shaping commercial strategy, partnerships, and team culture.
This is an opportunity for a strategic builder who thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and has direct experience launching new markets using hybrid go-to-market models.
**Location: Mexico (Mexico City or Monterey preferred)**
**Reporting to: CEO**
**What You'll Do**:
- Market Entry Strategy: Design, validate, and execute a comprehensive market entry plan, including customer targeting, pricing, and regulatory positioning.
- Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with local distributors, vendors, and ecosystem players.
- Team Building: Over time as needed, recruit,
develop, and manage the initial local team across sales, operations, and customer success functions.
- Commercial Leadership: Drive early revenue growth, establish sales pipelines, and secure anchor customers in Mexico.
- Operational Setup: In concert with US leadership assist in facilitating local compliance processes, ensuring proper in-country business execution and alignment with local regulations.
- Customer Experience: Build a local support model that maintains global standards while adapting to regional expectations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with global Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure localization of offerings.
- Performance Tracking: Define KPIs and track progress against market penetration, revenue, and operational milestones.
**Required Qualifications**:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in business development, strategy, or general management, ideally with exposure to SaaS or tech-enabled services.
- Proven track record of strong relationship building, launching or scaling businesses in Mexico
- Deep understanding of Mexican business culture, regulatory environment, and customer expectations.
- Strong experience with partnership-driven go-to-market models and building direct commercial teams.
- Strong local network across industry and commercial partners in Mexico.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with mínimal structure.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.

- Experience in SaaS, technology, financial services, e-commerce, or a service-led B2B business model.
- Strong local network across industry, government, and commercial partners in Mexico.
- Experience working in a matrixed general organization and coordinating with regional or HQ leadership.
