Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer located in Tijuana.
What a typical day looks like:
- Experience in Medical Industry- Design and optimize manufacturing processes within schedule and budget parameters.- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods and workflows.- Define equipment maintenance requirements and troubleshoot equipment failures.- Collaborate with engineering teams and customers to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.- Participate in PFMEA and control plan development for new products.- Write and update work instructions, specifications, and procedures.- Analyze and design equipment layouts and workspace for maximum efficiency.- Coordinate with production teams to ensure effective tooling and product design.- Respond to customer requests regarding product specifications and design changes.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Advanced English- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree- Initiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion.- Assists with development and implementation of quality audits.- Responsible for developing, applying, revising and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.- Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective action.- Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement and analytical equipment and facilities.- Approves product, process and equipment qualifications.
