- Analyze and understand business logic within existing **C++ programs** based on change requests.
- Implement, test, and validate code modifications following best practices and internal standards.- Review and modify **Unix/Solaris shell scripts**, ensuring efficient process automation and integration.
- Support ongoing modernization efforts by identifying opportunities to improve code efficiency and maintainability.
- (Nice to have) Develop or enhance **Python automation tools** to streamline analysis, testing, and deployment processes.

- **Technical Expertise**
- Proven experience in **C++ development**, particularly with legacy systems or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong working knowledge of **Oracle SQL** and relational database concepts.
- Advanced skills in **Unix/Linux**, ideally **Solaris**.
- Experience analyzing and modifying **shell scripts** in production environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with experience working across multicultural teams.
- Fluent in **English** (spoken and written).
- (preferred) Experience with **Python scripting** for automation and tooling.
- **Preferred Skills & Experience**
- 3+ years of experience in software development, maintenance, or modernization projects.
- Exposure to **automotive or manufacturing environments** is a plus.
- Familiarity with **Agile methodologies** and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities, capable of understanding complex business requirements.
