About The Role We’re looking for a curious, hands‑on IT Support Specialist to join our lean IT team. This isn’t a traditional helpdesk role — you will be a part of a 2‑person team, meaning you will be doing a bit of everything (which will provide you exposure to many systems and technologies).
You’ll be responsible for keeping our systems running, managing access and devices across a mostly mac OS environment, and contributing to internal tooling projects — including AI‑assisted development with tools like Claude Code.
One of our previous IT team members progressed into our SRE team. We see this role as a genuine launchpad for ambitious engineers who want to grow into infrastructure, reliability, or platform engineering.
What You’ll Do
Manage mac OS fleet via Kandji MDM — deployments, policies, and our custom Open VPN setup
Act as the gatekeeper for access management — onboarding, offboarding, SSO, and permissions
Support Slack and Jira‑based IT requests, triage issues, and resolve them efficiently
Collaborate with our SRE team on infrastructure awareness and escalations
Document runbooks, processes, and internal guides clearly and consistently
Occasionally support Windows (and a couple Linux) users alongside our primary mac OS environment
Use available platforms to automate common requests and reduce toil
What We’re Looking For Core IT skills
Solid mac OS administration experience — you know the OS, not just the UI
Terminal comfort — enough to read logs, and not panic
Experience with MDM tools (Kandji, Jamf, or similar)
Identity and access management — Okta, Google Workspace, SSO basics
Mindset
You ask "why does this keep happening?" before closing a ticket
You’re comfortable with ambiguity and can prioritise without hand‑holding
You write things down — runbooks, notes, decisions
You want to understand how things work, not just fix symptoms
Nice to Have
Curiosity about AI‑assisted development tools (Claude Code, Copilot, etc.)
Experience with Docker or containers at a basic level
Networking fundamentals: VLANs, firewalls, switches, VPN concepts
Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana, Datadog, etc.)
Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms
Any Slack bot, webhook, or internal tooling project you’ve built — even a small one
Scripts & automation — you don’t need to be a software engineer, but you should be comfortable writing and maintaining scripts helping with daily tasks
What We Offer
A team that treats IT as engineering, not just support
Real autonomy to build tooling, propose improvements, and own projects
Opportunity for engineering progression for the right candidate
A lean, collaborative team where your contributions are visible and valued
Fully remote working
Benefits & Perks
Attractive compensation package consisting of base salary and the potential to earn a significant bonus for top performance
Opportunity to have a real impact in a high‑growth integral category leader
40% discount on all Fever events and experiences
Private health Insurance
20 days off annually
Wellhub membership
English Lessons
Responsibility from day one and professional and personal growth
