Responsibilities
Continuous improvement: process inspection, first pass rate, start up, nonconformance material, scrap.
Information acquirement.
Data stratification (Pareto) and data trends.
Replication of failure modes.
Root cause definition.
Implementation of problem containment countermeasures.
Definition of action plan and permanent countermeasure implementation.
Verification of problem solution effectiveness.
Problem solving documentation.
Define and document acceptance criteria for manufacturing operations in the transfer of new products.
Obtain acceptance criteria from suppliers and customers for their parts, assemblies and/or product performance.
Select and document applicable criteria for each operation, manufacturing or assembly processes.
Train personnel on the documented criteria and monitor application and understanding of the criteria.
Provide visibility to top management.
Assign action plans to implement preventive countermeasures and the required control plan according to the PRN obtained in the FMEA/FMECA study.
Address Customer Issues / CAR (Corrective Action Request).
Apply statistical techniques where required and, where applicable, implement SPC and 8-D tools.
Disposition of non-conformance material returns (NCMR) and customer raw material returns (RG’s).




Conduct failure analysis and drive control system improvements.
Qualifications
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
8-D tool experience.
Experience with FMEA/FMECA.
Knowledge of ISO 9000 and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Continuous improvement tools.
Education and Certifications
Bachelor degree.
Experience: +5 years in the position.
Languages: English 90% proficiency.
