JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Plan and specify purchases necessary to specification requirements - Ensure a means of colleting and distributing complied information in order to improve quality - Read and interpret drawings and other quality control requirements - Ensure safe practices are used in compliance with all governmental regulations - Drive lean effort within manufacturing focusing on Quality - Support and lead projects undertaken by the engineering team - This individual must be a motivated,



self-starter that can learn on the fly and take ownership of their tasks - Create engineering reports that account for all applicable features based on drawings - Perform machine setups and trials for development projects as necessary - Identify improvement opportunities in production line - Work with outside service providers as needed to support business unit needs - Present solutions/recommendations to business units for capital equipment purchases - Manage capital equipment purchases by preparing ROI and CAPEX, and furthermore managing the supplier throughout the complete cycle from machine quotations to machine installations - Communicate with suppliers in a manner that helps achieve business needs - Develop presentations and/or documentation to allow for clear understanding of projects to SAFRAN colleagues
