About the Role:
In this job you will focus on the leverage of the IBM IT solutions within the Latin America Region using the technical and communications skills to enable and influence IBM business partners and its customers.
You will be part of a team of TD Synnex architects whose mission is to technically support business initiatives of IBM resellers in Latin America, in addition to promoting IBM solutions for its ecosystem associated with TD Synnex and for the IT market, in a general way.
Connected to a wider team, you'll be surrounded by other leaders and colleagues who are always willing to help and be helped for creating and delivering technical proof points through technical accelerators, to include demonstrations, Proof-of-Concepts, Solution Design, Proposals, MVPs definitions and Workshops.
**What You'll Do**:
- Provide technical solutions expertise to customers and their end users in a consultative sales environment.
- Develop complete solutions to meet the requirements/specifications of the customer.
- Maintain new and current technical expertise across many technologies, such as data center, virtualization, security, mobility, unified communication, and cloud solutions
- Provide internal and external technical presentations and training
- Act as a visionary for recommending strategic vendors to enhance TD SYNNEX's line card
- Work with sales to identify new or existing customers for specific technologies
- Assist in determining developmental needs of other technical resources and provide training and/or mentoring as required
- Performs additional duties as assigned Meets attendance and punctuality standards
**What We're Looking For**:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.




**Experience and knowledge**:
1. Proven leadership experience in understanding and presenting the
value proposition of IT solutions and products.
2. Three years or more of proven experience working as pre-sales
specialist or IT architect.
3. Experience working with hybrid multicloud environments.
4. Knowledge of the IT infrastructure alternatives with servers, virtual
machines, and containers.
5. Good understanding of the multicloud environment concept.
6. Knowledge of storage solutions using the main access methods
7. Experience with the main storage access technologies (Storage Area
8. Knowledge of different multi-disk architectures for protecting data
stored on disk (RAID, D-RAID, Mirroring, Erasure Code, etc).
9. Good understanding of cyber resiliency of storage environments,
snapshots, and immutability.
10. Good knowledge about Software Defined Storage
11. Experience in the design and implementation of Backup/Restore
solutions and processes.

**Good to Have (experience)**:
1. Work experience on an enterprise product vendor like IBM, Oracle,

Good knowledge about cloud solutions and its adoptions.
4. Good understand of IT containers platforms, such as Docker,
Kubernetes and Openshift.
5. Knowledge of IBM Cloud Paks products.
6. Knowledge of low-cost, high-density storage and tape libraries.
