**Lead SCM Supplier Quality - Power Connections, Mobility Group**
**Description**
Eaton’s Mobility Group, Power Connections business is currently seeking a Lead SCM Supplier Quality.Supplier Development to join our team.
- **Position Overview**:
- Drive audits and suppliers’ qualification (QSL), continuous improvement actions such as Lean Manufacturing, Scrap Reduction, Design Improvements, and Capability Improvements in the components for Eaton´s supply base
- **In this function you will**:
- Drives process and systemic quality improvements, at assigned supplier sites, through the use of quality tools (SPC, Lean, Six Sigma) and validates improvements through defined measurables to reduce quality non-conformances.
- Works with suppliers and plant SQA to implement effective 8D corrective action and comprehensive performance improvement plans as required.
- Conducts Quality/System/Technical Assessment, in support of new sourcing, to determine if a supplier’s quality system meets Eaton’s performance thresholds.
- Set Action Plans to fulfill gaps found on the assessment, support and assure implementation plan.
- Participates on commodity strategy supporting the decision and provides quality detail required to guarantee the implementation. #LI-DG2
- Performs fundamental data analysis (Quality systems, PPM, DMR) to determine performance level of responsible suppliers and drive action plans as required
**Qualifications**:
**Required (Basic) Qualifications**:
- Education:
- Complete degree in engineering discipline + Post Graduation- Experience:
- 8 years,



Supplier Quality/Development Minimum 3 years of experience w/ ISO/IATF16949 Quality Management Systems
- PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, senior auditor, Green Belt
- Ability to: effectively communicate at all levels within the company; work cross-functionally; think and act strategically, lead meetings Globally (Fluent English speaker); digital mindset Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory and/or management role
- **Preferred Qualifications**:
- Six Sigma Blackbelt or Greenbelt certification
- ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM), ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)and/or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Direct customer interface, manage and resolve complaints.
- Knowledge of cost control, budgeting and fixed asset planning for return on investment.
- Highly developed human relations skills necessary to establish and maintain effective work relationships in a different levels and areas to promote and motivate employee involvement in, and acceptance.
