Demand & Supply Planner Manager
For this role you will handle the end to end demand planning process. To plan, monitor and control inventory positions in both Mexico entities by working closely with market for demand planning and factory for production. Also, analyze Market stocks looking for developing DIO KPI with the main purpose to optimize inventory and avoid out of stock situations and minimize shipping cost that might occur due to emergency shipping or excess NTM orders.
**As a Demand & Supply Planner Manager you will**:
- Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons, to ensure the accurate national supply. Use a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Finance which will lead to effective knowledge sharing and an optimal consensus forecast and understand forecast drivers to predict customer demand.
- Lead inventory positions for all JTI and other products by SKU for accurate demand planning purpose. The main objective is to control and optimize DIO (days of inventory) and reduce risks of Out of Stock situations and potential write-offs for all products.
Establish a continuos improvement process with producing factories and Mexico and General logistic teams. Also by working closely with Logistic team, be main focal point for business decisions support and business functions for inventory reporting.
- Develop and enhance inventory management with the objective of: a) Providing an overview of inventory status for all JTI and other products. b) Identifying gaps and opportunities for inventory management. c) Drive business decision.
- Based on system information and crosschecked with Logistic team, handle a monthly deck of all relevant inventory positions and main considerations.
- Working closely with Tax team ensure robust process implementation for Security Codes availability and control. Connect with Factories in order to ensure timely production availability. Minimize write off and excess Codes usage.
- Be responsible for any local or global system maintenance related to Demand planning (timely submissions and management sign off, data accuracy and distribution). Be SPOC for any communication with Global planning team or producing factories.
- Be actively involved and guide market projects related to new product development, sourcing changes or any other project that involves FG or raw material development introduction.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Commercial planning / Logistics in FMCG industry, preferably in multinational company. Good understanding of Marketing and Sales processes in FMCG. Previous experience in data analysis and reporting and working in cross-functional teams.
- University degree for this position is required. MBA education or equivalent educational background (desirable).
- Strong language knowledge in Spanish and English.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office; high level of expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
