The **Carrier Development Manager** is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and building strategic relationships with transportation providers (carriers) to ensure a strong logistics network that meets the company’s transportation needs. Their goal is to optimize transportation capacity, improve operational efficiency, and reduce costs, while ensuring reliable and high-quality service.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Carrier Relationship Development and Management **(Identify and negotiate agreements with new carriers to expand the transportation network, manage and review service contracts with carriers, ensuring compliance with agreed terms, conditions, and service levels)
- **Rate and Contract Negotiation**:
- **Carrier Performance Monitoring and Improvement**:
- **Transportation Capacity Management**:
- **Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management **(ensure carriers comply with local and international transportation regulations (customs, road safety, etc.).
**Requirements**:
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation management, or carrier development.
- Proven experience negotiating rates and contracts with logistics providers.




- Experience in evaluating and analyzing carrier performance (KPIs).
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), ERP, and shipment tracking software.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build strong business relationships.
- **It is a must to have at least 2 years of experience working in a Freight Forwarder**:
- English speaking ability at Advanced level (required)
