**Job description**: Design testing procedures for our Fire alarm systems (control panel and devices) Analyze the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance. Identify bugs, install databases, and collaborate with the software design team.Design and write efficient test procedures for every software applicationPerform
Software Validation testing and evaluation of various products.Maintain validation test data and generate defects.Maintain focus on all aspects of quality, productivity, delivery, and safety during the New Product Introduction process.Review product requirements and develop Validation test documentation and modify existing Validation test plans as required.Maintain validation lab environment to production and 5S standards.Facilitate use of automated test techniques and software testing tools.Work collaboratively with Product Marketing, Development Engineering, and the Design Assurance team.Drive continuous improvement to optimize team workflow to achieve project commitments efficiently while ensuring delivery of high-quality products.Collaborate with Design Assurance Integral and local Team Leaders to share best practices resulting in common processes.Identify and make recommendations for improvements to the Software Quality Assurance Program.Maintain equipment calibration certificationsResponsible for escalating potential risks to management.Work closely with team members to provide effective solutions to support business and quality objectivesFacilitate effective communication across internal departments by trending and reporting dataEnsure adherence to regulatory requirements, budgets, and schedulesEstablish and improve procedures and processes by addressing issues and risksUtilize proven employee management solutions to improve productivity and efficiencyEnsure the lab establishes and maintains a calibration program for testing equipment that affect quality resultsEnsure that environmental requirements are met at the federal, state, and local government levelsRequired knowledge: - Automation and control, Computer Science, or equivalent. - At least 3 years of Software Quality Testing or related experience - ISO 17025 QMS implementation - Test methodology implementation Additional Qualifications: Solid understanding of testing principles and practices (strategies, methods and techniques). Able to deliver quality outputs under limited supervision. Experience with defining system test plans that reflect customer requirements. Experience in testing embedded systems, windows systems, cloud-based services, and mobile applications. Excellent attention to detail, strong organization skills, and ability to work independently and in teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication (written & oral) skills.
