Mission and context of the role
Manage physical and logical inventory and storage optimization at warehouse level. The Warehouse Planner is based in León, Guanajuato in one of the biggest sites of Michelin around the world.
KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
Inventory and storage management:




- Guarantees accuracy of physical and logical inventory and their consistency by coordinating and overseeing cycle counting, location auditing and inventory control procedures in compliance with audit requirements
- Develops and maintains the storage optimization strategy through the local WMS (Warehouse management system) parameterization to ensure secure, fast, efficient and accurate warehousing operations, in accordance with Group standards.
- Analyses and solves inventory discrepancies between BSM - Oracle
- Supports the operational teams for standards implementation- Responsable of the Outbond shipments of Butyl to MNA (arrange the shipping plan with logistics team, follow the loads and process the paperworks of those.- Guarantee deliver all outbond shipments of Butyl to MNA on time and follow the tracking with the carrier untill deliveries.- Garantee the logistics team have the documents of inbound shipments of Raw Mat to group of Butyl and follow the customs clearance of those.- Manage the empty pallet circuit (MX2 to Customer and return) and make sure the correct inventory of empty pallet to have capacity to production.
