Paine Schwartz Partners (PSP) is a integral sustainable food-chain investment private equity firm based in California and New York. The firm invests in middle-market companies across North America and Europe. **What do we expect?**
To ensure the proper development and yield of mushroom crops through the constant coordination of operational activities, ensuring compliance with established agricultural and production practices. Optimize resources, improve product quality, and maximize operational efficiency to contribute to the company's success and growth.
- Manage budgets and control of expenses in the area.
- Coordinate and supervise mushroom cultivation activities, from planting to harvest.
- Ensure compliance with good agricultural practices and quality standards.
- Monitor crop status and take corrective action when necessary.
- Optimize the use of resources, supplies, and equipment.
- Coordinate and direct the personnel under their charge.
- Report the progress and conditions of the crop to management.
- Implement safe and sustainable work practices.
- Manage inventories and acquisition of necessary materials.
- Control pests and diseases.
- Improve crop productivity and quality.

- Knowledge of mushroom cultivation techniques.
- Leadership and team management.
- Troubleshooting in production.
- Knowledge in pest, disease, irrigation, and fertilization control.
- Communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge in budget management and cost control.
Job Requirements:
Minimum education: Agricultural Engineer, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Food or related (preferably with experience in mushroom cultivation).
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the management of agricultural crops, preferably in mushroom cultivation.
