Flō Networks is a leading provider of telecommunications services between the US and Mexico. We provide voice and data services to Fortune 1000 companies, telecommunications, and cable companies over a fiber optic network that spans over 13,000 miles between both countries.
We have an immediate need for a **MSOC Engineer.**This position will be in Mexico City, Mexico.
The Role:
This person will be responsible for correlating incoming tickets, escalations, and alerts, proactively discovering trends or issues, extrapolating that data to determine if these events are tied to a larger incident, and driving it to resolution. This role requires the use of applied technical knowledge and practical experience to resolve complex issues.
**The Responsibilities**:
- Support the analysis, design, engineering, and implementation of innovative network / security / SD-WAN solutions.
- Monitor and analyze security events data from customer platforms, network elements, and security devices.
- Follow incident response process and provide actionable improvement recommendations
- Investigate attack origin, spread, attacker details and document in the system.
- Collaborate with third-party support and service vendors to ensure that the network, security and sd-wan services stays operational.




**The Requirements**:
- Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Experience working in a customer service environment.
- Previous experience as SOC Engineer desirable.
- Strong analytical and technical skills in computer network defense operations.
- Relevant Certifications: CEH, CISSP, Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Advanced Networking, Fortinet NSE4 or FCP, or related certification.
- Understanding of how hackers operate, and up to date of latest information on security threats and intelligence.
- Extensive knowledge of network technologies (routing, switching, gateways, WAN, LAN, Wireshark, TCP/IP, OSPF, BPG, NAT, VPN, Firewalls, SSL, SSO)
- Previous experience working with IP/MPLS based services: MPLS L3/L2 VPN, Metro Ethernet services.
- Strong verbal communication and collaboration skills including the ability to work with both technical and non-technical customers/peers to research and resolve problems.
- Attention to detail.
- Highly analytical with proven solving skills.
- Available to work rotating shifts.
- Fully bilingual (English and Spanish).
