**Purpose of the position**:
**Responsibilities**
- Solid understanding of multi-account and multi-region network topology and routing with contribution to overall architecture including intra-DC, Inter-DC and Internet Connectivity.
- Provides advanced level engineering design functions
- Provides trouble resolution and serves as point of technical escalation on complex problems.
- Creates presentations and seeks IT and business management approval and acceptance of significant replacements or reconfigurations of major cloud and network technologies serving the enterprise.
- Act as technical leader and provide technical guidance to fellow engineers within the organization.
- Comprehensive knowledge of AWS and Azure Cloud networking.
- Documenting technical requirements as part of overall network solutions design.
- Design multi-region, multi-cloud network automation and services
- Creating,



reviewing and/or vetting technical functional specifications and low-level network solutions design documentation, ensuring those are complete, correct and kept current
- Assisting with implementation of upgrades and enhancements to WAN services, including communications, preparation of documentation and training
- Participating in root cause analysis on incidents, helping to drive identification of preventative actions meant to ensure problems don't recur, and delivering on the tasks within those actions.
**Education**
- 4-year degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
**Work Experience**:
- 7+ years of experience analyzing requirements for implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting network devices/functions/tools/processes in a large enterprise or Telecommunications environment
- 5+ years performing network automation deployments in large enterprise environment.
