**About the job**:
As a Solution Architect SD - TMS, you’ll help shape and deliver IT solutions that support our Sales & Distribution (SD) and Transportation Management (TMS) processes. You’ll work closely with business and IT teams to translate needs into system solutions, ensuring they align with our technical architecture, strategy, and quality standards. This role offers the chance to influence system design, drive improvements, and stay on top of emerging tech trends.
**In your future role as Solution Architect SD - TMS, you will**:
- Support early-stage project planning and requirements gathering
- Translate business needs into scalable, cost-effective SAP SD/TMS solutions
- Design, build, and implement SAP solutions, especially for legal requirements in Brazil/South America
- Review solution designs for consistency with our general template
- Contribute to system testing, training, and documentation
- Support minor and major change requests (CRs)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and support organizations
- Monitor industry trends to bring innovative ideas to the table
**We believe you bring**:
- Fluent English, written and spoken (required)
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s in Business, Computer Science, or a related field




- 5-10 years of IT experience, including 3-5 years in SAP SD/LE implementations
- Experience in SAP Transportation (TMS) and full-cycle SAP projects
- Knowledge of the chemical, manufacturing, or process industry
- Strong understanding of Order to Cash processes and related system integrations (including EDI)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
- Comfort navigating both high-level strategy and detailed execution
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence at all levels
- Commitment to quality and continuous improvement
**Good to know**:
This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Functional Information Manager (Marketing & Sales) based in Houston, TX.
