Alliance Personnel are seeking a dedicated and skilled Print Finisher to join one of their clients based in Birmingham.
**Responsibilities**
- Key Responsibilities:
- **Operating Machinery**: Print finishers operate various machines, including folding machines, guillotine cutters, stitching machines, and binding equipment.
- **Finishing Techniques**: They perform tasks like cutting, folding, trimming, collating, binding, and laminating printed materials.
- **Quality Control**: Ensuring the quality and accuracy of the finished products by checking for errors and ensuring they meet specific standards.
- **Hand Finishing**: Will involve hand-finishing tasks like folding, binding, and packaging.




- **Machine Maintenance**: Maintaining and cleaning the equipment used in the finishing process.
- **Following Instructions**: Adhering to work instructions and procedures to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- **Communication**: Communicating with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues.
- **Binding**: Binding books and other publications, both by hand and machine
- **Operating Equipment**: Operating paper guillotines for pre-press and post-press paper cutting and trimming, and programming electronically-operated units on process, ensuring high-quality outcomes for our clients.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm and 10am - 6pm (rotating)
