We are seeking a skilled **Senior APIs and Integration Developer** to join our team.

**Responsibilities**
- Design integration services in Java utilizing REST APIs and Kafka
- Build adapters and connectors for systems such as LIS, LIMS, and EMRs
- Transform workflows into reusable software components
- Ensure the integrity of data and reliability of system messages
- Add observability features for seamless system interactions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements
- Assist in defining best practices for API design and system integration
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of experience working with Java and Spring Boot
- Background in microservices-based architectures
- Proficiency in REST API design and system integration
- Familiarity with schema-first development approaches
- Experience with databases, including SQL and/or NoSQL systems
- Understanding of messaging frameworks such as Apache Kafka
- English proficiency for smooth team collaboration
**Nice to have**
- Familiarity with HL7v2.x and FHIR healthcare standards
- Background in working with commercial LIS/LIMS platforms like Epic Beaker
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory standards
- Skills in test automation and contract-based testing processes
- Qualifications in continuous integration and delivery tools
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like Apache JMeter
