**Primary Purpose of the Position**:
Raw Material area supervisor.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand, contribute and encourage compliance with plant and department objectives.
- Understand the company's code of conduct.
- Use and encourage the use of the required personal protective equipment (PPE) with your staff in charge.
- Verify that the required human resources are complete and have the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Comply with production programs.
- Correctly manage the department's resources (personnel, machinery and materials).
- Meet the goals established by management in Productivity, Waste, Absenteeism and Increase the use of equipment. - Achieve a balance between machine capacities.
- Establish and schedule the production load by lines and machines. - Follow up on department indicators (production, quality and safety).
- Interact with the maintenance department on corrective and preventive maintenance plans (set priorities).



- Review and follow up on the productivity bonus.
- Prepare work order for maintenance area when required. - Personnel administration and incident control.
- Quantitative and analytical skills *Understand inventory strategy, product supply, deployment, and production planning.
- Understanding of business issues, metrics, and customer value.
- Ability to manage processes and drive efficiency improvements.
- Understanding of change management and change agents. Participates in a change process, awareness of the organizational matrix - roles and responsibilities.
**Education**:
Engineering or bachelor's degree
**Experience**:
1 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing company in a supply chain function or operations management role with demonstrated capability participating in high performance learning organizations/teams.
