**Minimum qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
- 10 years of experience in SQL and Data Visualization (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar technologies).
- 5 years of experience of leading and managing individual contributors.
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Experience with data warehousing or data modeling concepts.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Python, or R).
- Experience with translating business requirements to BI solutions.
- Experience with explaining technical analysis to stakeholders.
**About the job**:
This role is part of the Ads Martech team which is a cross functional team building the best technology and user experience solutions to support Marketing. In this role, you will own the development and maintenance of data pipelines, dashboard design, and data analyses for projects, and leading teammates in deliverables. As an L6 Manager, you should be innovative in finding new solutions to business intelligence problems as you develop work plans and assign tasks to your team. Collaboration with partner teams in strategy, data science, and engineering is key to translating metrics and analysis into formats that enable quick and easy derivation of relevant information.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee business intelligence solutions and infrastructure design to facilitate data gathering, storage, and retrieval,
partnering with upstream source systems to influence input and storage, including advocating broader best practices.
- Support cross-functional data users through the maintenance of reports, queries, and dashboards.
- Ensure appropriate metrics, roles, and people are in place to meet organizational goals, involves making prioritization decisions, allocating work, managing resources to deliver business impact for Google and provide opportunities for Googlers to have impact.
- Contribute to objectives and OKRs for teams needed to meet organizational OKRs. Develop project roadmap, establish project goals, coordinate resources, and provide leadership in line with long-term objectives.
- Develop solutions for BI problems that may be ambiguous or lacking clear precedent. Guide teams in translating metrics and analysis into formats that enable key business stakeholders to easily derive information.
