We are seeking a driven **Systems Engineer** with a strong development background and a solid understanding of Kubernetes and containers to join our team.
**Responsibilities**
- Migrate existing services to the OpenShift platform, ensuring scalability and efficiency
- Optimize and manage infrastructure to make it cloud-agnostic across GCP and Azure environments
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, and PowerShell to improve operational processes
- Monitor and manage cloud-based infrastructure while incorporating service-level indicators (SLI) to enhance system reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on system architecture and implementation strategies
**Requirements**:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Background in infrastructure, including networking and operating systems, with good knowledge of Linux
- Expertise in Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and deployment
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for scripting and automation
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and an understanding of the SLI concept in cloud-based environments
- Flexibility to work with any cloud provider, with a preference for experience in GCP or Azure
- Capability to debug and troubleshoot operational issues efficiently
- Competency in cloud infrastructure and container management best practices
- B1+ level of English or higher, with an emphasis on technical communication skills
**Nice to have**
- Knowledge of Windows environments for hybrid infrastructure support
- Qualifications in configuring CI/CD pipelines, especially with Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Istio for service mesh implementations
- Proficiency in using GitOps tools like ArgoCD
