Logistics Intern

Purpose of Role: During the internship, the student will assist the Logistics Leader in coordinating the movement of goods through various modes of transportation, including air, ocean, and parcel.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain insight into integral logistics processes, including international shipping, customs, and carrier management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and trace shipments to provide real-time updates about their location and status
- Manage and organize documents ensuring they are accurate, accessible, and compliant with international shipping regulations and company policies
- Perform timely and accurate high-volume data entry to internal systems
- Maintain communication with carriers, vendors, and customers to resolve shipment issues and delays
- Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Int'l Business, Int'l Relations, Foreign Trade, or a related field
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal communication skills)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a sense of urgency
