**The Position**
CIU is seeking dynamic and qualified faculty members to teach in the following disciplines:
- **Healthcare**:
- **World History**:
- **World Government**:
- **Economics**:
- **English**
These positions are ideal for educators passionate about student success in an online learning environment and committed to delivering high-quality instruction.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with faculty and administration in furtherance of student learning and success




- Develop and maintain a course syllabus and schedule in accordance with university guidelines.
- Create and grade assignments and exams, providing feedback and support to students as needed.
- Hold office hours to meet with students and provide additional support and guidance.
- Advise and mentor students in their academic and professional pursuits.
- Participate in departmental and university committees and meetings as needed.
- Attend professional development opportunities to stay current in their field of expertise.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement curricula and programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
**The minimum requirements**:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for effective teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of best practices in teaching and learning, including student-centered and inclusive pedagogy, assessment and evaluation methods, and use of technology in the classroom, ensuring quality instruction and student engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the development and delivery of curricula and other academic programs, fostering a collaborative and innovative academic environment.
