We are seeking a highly motivated **Automation Tester skilled in Python** to join our team.
In this role, you will ensure the reliability and performance of cutting-edge systems like the next-generation POS and MOP platforms by implementing robust automated testing strategies using modern tools and frameworks.
**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable testing strategies
- Develop and execute test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Utilize Pytest and similar tools to automate testing processes
- Simulate real-world conditions using frameworks like Loki-proxy to identify system vulnerabilities
- Work with system testing approaches to ensure seamless integration and performance
- Increase efficiency and coverage by leveraging innovative tools such as Minotaur
- Analyze and interpret test results to identify areas for system improvement
- Coordinate regression testing and verify system fixes after updates
- Report and document defects clearly in issue-tracking tools like Jira
- Ensure test strategies align with quality standards and project goals
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of experience in automated testing with Pytest, Test Automation Tools, Postman
- Proficiency in system testing and test case development
- Background in Java, Kotlin Testing
- Competency in API testing tools and web service testing such as Postman
- Knowledge of English at a B2+ level and fluency in Spanish
**Nice to have**
- Familiarity with frameworks like BDD, Scala Test, and tools such as Test Strategy Development
- Experience with Kubernetes, Git/GitHub, or Concourse
- Understanding of performance monitoring tools like Datadog
- Capability to work with databases like Apache Cassandra
- Knowledge of XML Query Language for advanced testing scenarios
