We are seeking a **Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud Backend Developer**to support and enhance our enterprise-level e-commerce platform. This role focuses on implementing incremental product improvements, maintaining system stability, and resolving production issues within an ongoing support model.
**Responsibilities**
- Contribute to the development and delivery of new features and platform improvements
- Build and maintain SFCC backend components, including controllers, jobs, cartridges, and integrations
- Work alongside frontend developers to support full-stack functionality
- Address prioritized defects from the backlog to maintain a stable and high-quality production environment
- Follow architectural and code quality guidelines, and document fixes comprehensively
- Collaborate with QA engineers to validate resolutions and perform regression testing
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation to handle critical production incidents outside of standard working hours
- Diagnose and resolve high-priority issues (P1/P2), ensuring mínimal disruption to customer experience and business operations
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence
**Requirements**:
- Expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) using the SFRA framework, including controllers, cartridges, and ISML templates, with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Expertise in frontend development and building dynamic components using JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX, and React
- Experience with SFCC Business Manager configurations, site setup, and catalog management
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Webpack, Git, and automated deployment processes
- Knowledge of integrating third-party APIs and external services with SFCC
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot SFCC platform issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English,
