**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation for database systems.
- Work closely with business analysts to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Provide support for database deployments and updates ensuring mínimal disruption to business operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of database development processes and standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on project planning and execution.
- Ensure data security and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

**Qualifications**
- Must have strong technical skills in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance Governance Risk & Compliance and Finance & Accounting is a plus.
- Must be proficient in English at a novice level.
- Must have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Must have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must have a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Must have a strong understanding of database design and development principles.
- Must have the ability to work independently and take initiative.

**Certifications Required**
Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate SQL Certification desirable
