Material Planner
Location: Mexico City. Department: Manufacturing / Logistics Industry: Automotive Manufacturing
Position Objective
Ensure the timely availability of materials through efficient supply chain planning, supporting uninterrupted plant operations and compliance with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze customer portals and generate accurate material forecasts - Create purchase requisitions based on the master production schedule - Monitor inventory levels, avoiding stockouts or excess inventory - Coordinate deliveries with suppliers, sister plants, and internal teams - Track material consumption and generate reports (KPIs, in-transit status) - Identify and manage obsolete or slow-moving materials
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields - Experience: Minimum 3 years in materials planning or logistics (preferably in automotive or metal-mechanical industries) - Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems,



forecasting tools, and inventory control methods, MRP, Excel. - Soft Skills: Strong planning, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities - Language: English fluency required (spoken and written)
