We are looking for a **Track and Trace Assistant** (**Brokerage FMT)**to join our freight operations team and ensure every load is monitored, updated, and executed at the highest standard.
**Position Overview**
The **Track and Trace Assistant** (**Brokerage FMT)** role is responsible for maintaining real-time visibility of loads, communicating with carriers and customers, and escalating issues before they impact service. This position plays a critical role in our brokerage operations by ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proactive problem-solving.
**Available schedule: 5 AM - 4 PM**
Important Before You Apply:
- Comfortable with rotational shifts as required
- Can work US hours (CST)
- Must use Hubstaff and Zoom with camera on during the entire shift
- Must have a reliable internet connection and professional remote setup
**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor and track active brokerage loads through TMS, carrier communication, and tracking platforms
- Ensure **on-time pickup and delivery** by proactively addressing service delays or exceptions
- Communicate load status updates to customers and internal teams
- Escalate **DEFCON-level or high-impact service issues** for immediate resolution
- Maintain accurate documentation and notes within the TMS for every load
- Support carrier reassignments, recoveries, and last-minute coverage as needed
- Collaborate with brokerage sales, carrier reps, and dispatch teams to maintain service levels
**Requirements**:
- 1+ years in freight brokerage, dispatch, or tracking & tracing preferred
- Typing speed of at least 50 WPM




- Strong communication skills (clear, professional, and confident)
- Proficient with TMS platforms, load boards, and tracking software
- Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment and remain calm under pressure
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Reliable technology setup (desktop/laptop, strong internet connection, dual monitors preferred)

Pay: $14,500.00 - $20,500.00 per month
