Machine Maintenance is a crucial function and a critical part of the foundation in Moulding operations with the overall ambition that all Molding Machines and support equipment fulfill the LEGO Group established requirements in terms of: assuring a world class safety, adherence to quality and standards and processes reliability to secure production-ready availability with the aim of avoiding any disruption of the whole manufacturing-value chain.
The main challenges for this position are the stakeholder management, people development, promote and support improvement of actual processes, promote activities to reduce downtime, cost and improve efficiency in production areas, development and follow up of tactical implementation plan according to company strategies, ensure the brand protection and novelty confidentially and participation with other plants to share best practices.
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Promotes and secures the physical and emotional integrity of the employees by being an ambassador of the culture and safety toolkit established in The LEGO Group.
- Sets global framework together with the Machine Maintenance network to drive improvements, align standards and contribute to the overall integral Moulding strategy.
- Deploy Global Operations strategical initiatives and connects the drill down activities to it; setting the operational area metrics and follow up on the deliverables and compliance. Set short, mid and long term strategy for maintenance area.
- Integrates and promotes Continuous Improvement mindset in the context of GMEP (Global Maintenance Efficiency Program) and in the context of TPM.
- People leader responsible for maintaining and boosting a healthy and highly motivated staff,



whose impact will be reflected in PULSE. Execute HR core processes (Merit, PMP, IDP, PRP)
- Identify the competences needs of her/his team members.
- Continuous training, feedback, monitoring, evaluation and support to Managers, Engineers and Specialists in her/his area of responsibility.
- Ensure that the LEGO Production team meets the reliability requirements of the company and product quality by securing the best equipment performance.
- Set strategical path for short, mid and long term ambition within his/her area of responsibility as well as for the whole Moulding organization.
- Successfully connects with the Moulding leadership team to drive an excel result for the whole Manufacturing areas.
- Accountable for the Machine Maintenance financial statements result as well as support all the Moulding operational area's performance.
- Ensure compliance of quality and safety standard (Product safety, QA Handbook, IMS, OHSA 18001, ISO 14001 & ISO 9001)
**Do you have what it takes?**
- Over 3 years in a leadership role (Sr. Manager, Director), with strong knowledge and understanding in operations areas such as production, engineering, maintenance or alike.
- Proved deep knowledge: TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Engineering, Warehouse administration and Inventory management.
- Interpersonal skills: demonstrate a high level of collaboration, teamwork, focus on staff wellness, proactive and service attitude,



high level of personal and professional ethics.
- Resilient and flexible to adapt fast to a continuous changing environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of the plastic injection industry.
- Previous experience working for a Global company that understands the value of working in a Diverse environment.
- Understands the agility vs perfection concept and knows how to work under pressure.
- Analytical and fast at decision making.
- Knows how to structure and cascade strategical vision and works in synk with the different levels of the organization.
- Creative and innovative, not only inplan but knows how to execute.
- Creates culture of openness and transparency.
- Contributes and sets an example for the whole organization.
- English fluent level
- **Note: This position is based at our LEGO NL manufacturing factory located in Cienega de Flores. This is not a remote position.**
