**ABOUT THIS ROLE**
The Contract Manager is a member of the legal team and provides support to customer transactions through the full contractual lifecycle for the DXC´s customers (i) delivers timely, commercially balanced and contractually sound expertise and advice to account teams on existing customer contracts; (ii) drafts, negotiates and maintains best-in-class customer contract documentation that reflects DXC´s evolving portfolio, regulatory obligations and market posture; and (iii) facilitates the interpretation of contractual commitments into actionable, measurable obligations, thereby minimizing excessive costs for DXC, limiting customer disputes, and preserving the opportunity for growth with the customer.
**WHAT YOU’ WILL DO**:
- Review and negotiate non-disclosure agreements where required
- Prepare initial customer contract drafts using approved templates
- Draft and develop amendments or addenda to address new requirements or clarifications
- Lead negotiation of amendments
- Review statements of work drafted by the Offerings to ensure consistency with master agreement terms and no red flags from a legal perspective and do same with change requests to statements of work
- Provide expertise during customer negotiations of ancillary documents, including redlining and revision management
- Evaluate proposed terms against risk thresholds and follow required data governance processes
- Ensure any third party subcontractor requisite flow-up terms are included in the ancillary customer contract document, and ensure Supply Chain Management negotiates any requisite flow-down terms that need to be included in third party subcontract agreements as mandated by the customer contract document
**WHO YOU ARE**
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Typically, 3+ years of relevant work experience in industry
- Proven experience in contract management and negotiations
- Proficiencies in contract law, risk assessment, and contract drafting
- Professional experience in the insurance sector in the United States.
- Advanced English (spoken and written) required.
