We’re looking for a **Software Engineer** to join our **Automation Team**, responsible for building and maintaining automation systems that interact with third-party websites, APIs, and internal services.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, build, and maintain automation scripts and backend services using **Node.js**, **TypeScript**, and **Python**.
- Develop and optimize browser-based automations using **Playwright** and/or **Puppeteer**.
- Integrate automations with **databases** to manage data effectively.
- Set up and maintain **CI/CD pipelines** with **GitHub Actions**.
- Collaborate with teammates through effective communication, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Continuously learn and adopt **best practices** to improve system reliability, performance, and code quality.
- Contribute ideas to improve our automation framework and development processes.
**Technical Skills**
- Strong proficiency in **JavaScript**, **TypeScript**, and **Node.js**.
- Solid experience with **Python** (must-have).
- Experience with **Playwright** and/or **Puppeteer** for browser automation.
- Commitment to **clean code** and **good development practices**.
- Familiarity with **Docker**, **Git**, and **GitHub workflows**.
- Experience working with **SQL databases**.
- Comfortable setting up and managing **CI/CD pipelines** (GitHub Actions preferred).

- 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or in automation-related roles.
- Proven experience building automation systems, bots, or web integrations.
- Demonstrated ability to write maintainable, well-structured, and testable code.
- Experience working with containerized environments (**Docker**).
- Comfortable working remotely and collaborating asynchronously.
**Nice to Have**:
- Experience scaling browser automations across multiple environments.
- Familiarity with **message queues** (RabbitMQ, etc.) or distributed systems.
- Experience with **testing frameworks** (Jest, Pytest, etc.).
- Exposure to **cloud platforms** (GCP, AWS, etc.).
- Experience with **monitoring**, **observability**, or **logging tools**.
- Experience **integrating AI APIs**, such as the **OpenAI API**, to enhance or extend automation capabilities.
- Familiarity with **AI-powered developer tools** like **GitHub Copilot**, **Cursor**, or **Codeium** to boost productivity and code quality.
