**Job Description - Frontend Lead**
**Location**:Onsite (Preferred Location - Morelia. Other Location - Mexico City, Guadalajara)

**Position Overview**
We are seeking an experienced Frontend Lead to provide technical leadership across web, mobile, and digital channels. The Frontend Lead will guide teams in building modern, scalable, and high-performing user interfaces while ensuring consistency across omnichannel experiences. This role will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend/architecture teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the frontend engineering track, providing technical direction, mentorship, and code quality oversight.
- Define and implement the frontend modernization roadmap, aligning with enterprise objectives.
- Drive the development of responsive, accessible, and multilingual user interfaces across platforms (web, mobile, kiosks, etc.).
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architect, Backend Lead, and DevOps Lead to ensure architectural alignment.
- Conduct code reviews, technical assessments, and performance optimization for frontend components.
- Evaluate and introduce modern frameworks, UI libraries, and best practices to improve efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.
- Enforce design principles, UI/UX consistency, and coding standards across teams.




**Required Skills & Experience**
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in a frontend leadership role.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript with deep hands-on experience in React.js.
- Experience with state management frameworks (Redux, MobX, or similar).
- Solid understanding of design patterns and principles (OOP, SOLID, clean architecture) applied in frontend development.
- Strong knowledge of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), internationalization (i18n), and localization (l10n).
- Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Mocha).
- Cloud deployment knowledge and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with a focus on UI performance optimization.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (Spanish/English bilingual preferred).
**Good to Have**
- Experience with other frameworks such as Angular or Vue.js.
- Exposure to mobile frameworks (React Native, Flutter, or similar).
- Knowledge of Android and iOS platforms to better align with mobile delivery requirements.
- Understanding of server-side rendering (Next.js, Nuxt.js).
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries (Material UI, Ant Design).
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $550.00 - $600.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
