We are seeking a dedicated, detailoriented Construction Bookkeeper to join our team parttime. This is a fully remote position working directly with the owner and supporting the financial operations of multiple construction projects.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment, takes ownership of their work, and can provide accurate financial information that supports business decisions.
This role focuses on construction bookkeeping only and does not include tax preparation or tax filing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Track project costs and jobrelated expenses with accuracy.
Maintain accurate Job Costing records for multiple construction projects.
Prepare and update Work in Progress WIP schedules.
Monitor project profitability and cost performance.
Prepare monthly Profit Loss PL reports.
Maintain and reconcile Balance Sheet accounts.
Record daily financial transactions.
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
Review and categorize expenses appropriately.
Assist with monthend financial close.
Identify discrepancies and resolve bookkeeping issues proactively.
Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.




Collaborate directly with the owner to provide timely financial information and project cost updates.
Required Qualifications
3 years of construction bookkeeping experience.
Strong understanding of Job Costing.
Experience preparing and maintaining WIP reports.
Solid knowledge of Profit Loss and Balance Sheet reporting.
Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software.
Experience with projectbased accounting.
Knowledge of construction cost codes.
Experience supporting multiple construction projects simultaneously.
Experience with budgeting and project financial reporting.
Strong Excel and or Google Sheets skills.
Excellent English communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
