- Assist in the deployment and support of IT hardware and software, including PCs/laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Monitor ticket queries and resolve basic issues; escape more complex tickets to senior team members or vendors as needed.
- Support installation and basic maintenance of servers and storage systems under supervision.
- Follow established security procedures, including updates, antivirus, and access controls.
- Perform routine system administration tasks such as user account setup, password resets, and maintain inventory records.
- Monitor system alerts and report performance or availability issues to the team.
- Assist in troubleshooting recurring hardware and software issues and document solutions.
- Help maintain inventory of IT assets and supplies.
- Support data backup processes and verify successful completion.
- Provide basic user support and guidance on IT tools and best practices.
- Participate in team meetings and assist with process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure including computer and printer troubleshooting and deployment.
- Microsoft Windows (client) and basic understanding of Active Directory.
- Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN).
- Familiarity with internet connectivity and security concepts (VPN, antivirus).
- Exposure to virtualization or remote access tools (e.g., Citrix) is a plus. Familiarity with manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of M365 administration, including Office suite, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and entra ID.
