**Responsibilities**:
**How you can make an impact**:
- Building steady state models for solar, wind, storage and conventional generation projects
- Building dynamic models for above technologies which may require interaction with equipment vendors to determine the appropriate parameters.
- Performing model quality test / benchmarking of dynamic models in various tools per ISO requirement
- Performing distribution/transmission import/export analyses (aka injection/withdrawal studies), generator capability studies, and providing site selection support.
- Guiding clients through ERCOT's generator interconnection process and answering process related questions.
Qualifications:
**Bring your passion, here's what's needed**:
- Bachelor of Science or Electrical Engineering with a power system emphasis (Master's degree or PhD is a plus)
- Proficient utilization of at least one but preferably several of the following transmission planning tools: PSS/E, TARA, ETAP, PSCAD, Aspen One-Liner, and PowerWorld Simulator.
- Prior experience with ERCOT's generator interconnection process and/or any of the transmission service providers in Texas- Experience leveraging AI and automation tools responsibly to improve quality, productivity and innovation
- Proven team player skills with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
