Responsibilities

- Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations

- Supporting financial reporting, close, compliance, and internal control activities

- Maintaining the integrity of accounting records

- Managing the monthly close process

- Supervising accounting staff

- Ensuring compliance with company policies and U.S. GAAP

- Working closely with the Director of Finance to support internal controls, audit readiness, process improvements, and accounting system optimization

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

- CPA or equivalent accounting certification preferred

- 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience

- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial close processes

- Experience managing month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations

- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP

- Experience working with ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred)





- Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills

- Public accounting experience preferred

- Experience supporting internal controls and audit processes

- Experience with multi-entity organizations

- Experience with accounting process documentation

- Experience working with distributed or offshore accounting teams

- Experience in healthcare, senior living, or multi-location service organizations is a plus.

- Strong attention to detail and accounting accuracy

- Organized and process-oriented

- Effective team leader and collaborator

- Systems-minded with an interest in process improvement and automation

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Comfortable working within a distributed international team structure.
