**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our Queretaro location in the Electrophysiology division.
In Abbott's Electrophysiology (EP) business, we're advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
**What You'll Do**
Communication and Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison for IT-related matters at the site.
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors as required.
- Engage in business unit IT and BRM leadership forums, openly collaborate on opportunities and challenges, partner across IT and business teams to ideate, identify, and action solutions.
- Maintain and facilitate updates to relevant IT documentation to ensure efficient site operations.
Site IT Operations Management:
- Actively ensure IT solutions and services are operating efficiently and effectively in supporting manufacturing, distribution, and related business processes at the site.
- Coordinate with local IT team members and service providers to perform consistently with defined SLAs and quality standards.
- Coordinate and execute IT projects and initiatives at the site, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Act as the liaison to ensure qualified staff are providing on-site IT support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and services issues.
Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their IT needs and requirements.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through technology solutions.
- Conduct process and system design reviews to ensure project definition is aligned to desired business outcomes.
- Where required, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
Project Management:
- Oversee and guide small-to-medium-sized IT projects, with opportunities across planning, execution, and monitoring (inclusive of project plans, timelines, budgets, and quality documentation).
- Engages with integral, regional, and/or functional delivery teams to support large-scale project definition, planning, execution, implementation, and operations.
- Support monitoring of project progress and regular status updates as required.
- Support identification and mitigation of project risks and issues with IT and business leadership.
Compliance and Security:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain IT cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Appropriately support cybersecurity controls assessments, vulnerability assessments, and audits as appropriate.
**Required Qualifications**
- B.S. in Computer science, Information Systems Management, Business Administration or other discipline relevant for healthcare industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT business analysis or a related role, preferably with experience in systems and processes supporting a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong-to-intermediate understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes, including MES, WMS, and ERP systems.
- Experience working in a global, enterprise environment with multi-divisions or business units model structures.
- Experience with IT project management and implementation.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical device companies.
- Ability to work with mínimal direction and as part of a highly-matrixed team.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and IT service management processes is a plus.
