**Job Summary**:
The Logistics & Import Compliance Manager leads and optimizes our international and domestic logistics operations.
This role oversees import/export processes across land, air, and sea, manages compliance with trade regulations, and coordinates with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
**Responsibilities**:
Import Operations
- Develop and manage consolidated land, air, and maritime import processes.
- Track virtual pedimento openings by month, client, and regime.
- Request tariff classifications and maintain import databases.
- Coordinate virtual operations with customs broker (e.g., ALPHA MEXICO).
- Oversee regime changes post-nationalization for customer sales.
Export Operations
- Manage export movements, including RMAs and supplier errors.
- Coordinate cross border logistics.
- Liaise with U.S. customs brokers and carriers for documentation and crossing
Logistics Coordination
- Lead Mexican national and international logistics movements.
- Source and evaluate quotes from parcel and freight companies.
- Manage pickups and transfers to warehouses (within Mexico).
- Track all shipments and ensure timely delivery.
Compliance & Documentation
- Prepare certificates of origin and IGI reports (quarterly/bimonthly).
- Monitor Annexes 24 and 31 (Aranxel and Interxel) for inventory and regime control.
- Ensure compliance with tariff changes, SENER permits, and IMMEX regulations.
- Maintain accurate gloss and data stage records for accounting
Strategic Initiatives
- Support sales with logistics quotes for future projects.
- Develop logistics plans in coordination with manufacturing.
- Identify and onboard new logistics providers.
**Qualifications**:
- 5+ years in international logistics, import/export, or customs compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican and U.S. customs regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems and virtual pedimento processes.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English required.
