Missions
- Guarantee the accuracy and validity of the balanced transport performance dashboard of your region as well as customs & Packaging related data
- Assess continuously transport (incl customs) and packaging data situation of the BGs under your geographical scope notably through the data quality tool
- Assess, lead and animate the main current and future network of end-users and key-users that will continuously improve the availability & accuracy of said data so that it can be used real-time for decision-making (by control tower, by International Trade teams. etc)
- Responsible for assisting data management activities to improve findability, accessibility, interoperability, usability & quality of its data objects across the BGs
Activities
Performance side: as required by regional activities related to the implementation of the new transport/customs strategy.
Data side:
- Ensure data quality (“can be trusted”)
and its traceability by implementing actions to follow and improve data quality
- Make sure that data policies and rules are applied locally.
- Maintenance and understanding of data and metadata
Data governance & management:
- Collects transport, packaging & customs data needs from data consumers across PO, maintains list of data objects and assesses data value / improvement potential.
- Data quality controls by object, develop data architecture policies, standards & guidelines under Global SC Data Manager guidance
- Writes glossaries & dictionaries related to transport, with the support of Business Process Owners and local IS teams.
- Fosters data governance rule application & track data management efficiency across the organization.
- Sets and fosters application of data remediation processes.
Data products:
- Prioritizes and designs transport data products (data exposure in the data platform) based on its data need collection.
- Monitor the data product backlog and is the link between Data users and global SC data manager.
- Is accountable for the sharing of transport data products.
- Ensure data products perform as expected and meet the needs of the business ensuring the data is viewed as trusted.
- Monitors usage of its data products and is responsible for their continuous improvement.
Data analytics:
- Prioritizes and designs,
with the support of stakeholders (Business Owners,…) data analytics solution (dashboards, Machine Learning programs,…)
- Review reports and visualization to ensure they are performing as expected and meet the needs of the business ensuring the data is viewed as trusted.
Data communities:
- Attends Data Steward communities & coaching sessions with the Data Office and participate in working groups as needed.
- Supports data citizens
- Coordinate key user networks to foster rule & policy compliance in collaboration with BPOs
Competencies requirements
Bachelor's degree in supply chain with a major/minor in data management
Ideally a few years of experience/ knowledgeable in transport-packaging/customs-related data management; former SAP Key-user or BPO
Power BI + MS office
SAP expertise (MM, PP, SD as must, FI-CO a plus)
SQL basics
Qualified in change management
Leaderships to make things happen even without direct “control” over people
Excellent interpersonal/facilitation skills, establishing connections and building trust.
Strong problem-solving abilities and focus on results
Highly accountability & reliable. autonomous
English fluent. Other European language appreciated
Ability to work in international environment and with global teams.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
