A leading general aerospace manufacturer is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary engineering organization responsible for the design, structural analysis, development, and technical support of highly engineered aerospace components and equipment.

This position combines technical leadership, people management, and program execution, offering the opportunity to lead complex engineering initiatives while developing high-performing teams in a collaborative global environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- Manage engineering projects throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring quality, schedule, and cost objectives are achieved.
- Provide technical leadership on complex mechanical design and structural engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management to ensure successful product execution.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and Design for Manufacturability (DFMA) initiatives.
- Build organizational capability through coaching, talent development, and succession planning.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Proven experience leading engineering organizations in a managerial capacity.
- Strong background in mechanical design, product development, and/or structural analysis.
- Experience within the aerospace industry is highly preferred; candidates from automotive or other advanced manufacturing industries with relevant engineering leadership experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated success managing complex engineering projects and cross-functional teams.
- Advanced English communication skills.
- Availability to work on-site in Mexicali, Baja California.
