**A Snapshot of Your Day**
As Engineering Service Technical support for GIS ́ Smart Spares, you will work in the project team to develop the technical solution according to customer requirements.
This includes the entire process, starting with clarifying fundamental questions, identifying spare parts, defining materials and tools for repairing activities and minor modifications.
Outlining typical methods, established protocols, and knowledge acquired.articularly, your focus will be on our service "Smart Spares", thereby you will develop spare part concepts, to optimize the inventory stock of our customer.
**How You'll Make an Impact**
- Consult the "Smart Spares" service by developing a Customer's specific concept for spares, throughout the installed base in focus.
- Elaborate cross reference and compatibility charts for components/modules of same GIS families/generations.
- Taking over the entire technical clarification process of customer inquiries of the product and project business for high-voltage switches/systems/devices in the field of GIS Switchgears.
- Support of internal teams with technical questions, especially with project management/order processing, sales, purchasing and PLM or equivalent experience in the quotation as well as order processing process.
- Preparation of technical elaborations for parts as a basis for quotations or order processing in the product business.
- Evaluation of Non Conformance Reporting (NCRs) with technical origin in the order case (manufacturing phase and when the component is installed).
**What You Bring**
- Efficiently completed technical education with a focus on mechanical-electrical engineering or comparable.




- 3+ years of professional experience in the installation, design or maintenance of high-voltage switchgear, preferably on gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) or air-insulated switchgear (AIS).
- Good knowledge of SAP.
- Proficient English, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication and technical skills in interdisciplinary exchange with other technicians/engineers, as well as willingness to travel (approx. 10%).
