Your Job:
As an Industrial Engineer at Molex, you will drive the optimization and continuous improvement of our production processes and resources.
You will be responsible for analyzing workflow, capacity, and productivity to ensure efficient use of people, materials, and equipment, while aligning with company objectives.
Your expertise will help standardize procedures and lead initiatives that enhance operational performance.
Our Team:
You will join a dynamic team supporting Cable & PCBs areas, working closely with production line supervisors, planners, process engineers, and quality and maintenance teams.
Our collaborative environment fosters innovation and continuous improvement at every level of the manufacturing process.
What You Will Do:
- Lead time and motion studies on the production floor to execute detailed capacity analyses for products and processes.
- Support cross-functional teams by providing industrial engineering expertise, including cycle time analysis and productivity improvements.
- Identify opportunities to optimize tool availability, reduce cycle time, and improve resource utilization while controlling costs.
- Develop and update productive area layouts and collaborate with Facilities to fine-tune line setup and production flow.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies,



including line balancing, Value Stream Mapping, and DMAIC.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams.
- Ensure alignment of industrial engineering efforts with operational goals to deliver measurable value.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electronic Engineering.
- 5+ years of industrial engineering experience with at least 3 years in lean manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, including blueprint reading and practical hands-on problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) and analytical tools.
- Effective leadership and communication skills with a service-oriented attitude.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
What Will Put You Ahead:
- Experience in production lines such as HLA, SMT, Cables & Fiber Optics.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and other design software for layout and workstation design.
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
- Familiarity with 5S implementation and maintenance.
- Understanding of ISO7 cleanroom standards and gowning protocols.
