What you ́ll do
- Coordinate daily operations of the microbiology laboratory, ensuring timely and accurate testing aligned with GMP and ISO standards.
- Supervise and mentor a team of lab analysts and a hygiene engineer.
- Lead microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and interpretation of results.
- Manage hygiene validation projects, including cleaning validation, sanitary design assessments, and hygienic zoning.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, QA, and engineering teams to identify and resolve hygiene-related risks or deviations.
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of hygiene procedures and best practices.
- Lead or participate in hygiene-related audits and inspections.
- Ensure data integrity and traceability using systems like Microsoft Office and SAP (preferred).
- Maintain compliance with ISO ***** (Cosmetics GMP) and ISO **** standards.
- Develop and deliver training to staff on microbiological methods and hygienic practices.
- **Must be willing to take shifts.

What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology,
Biochemistry, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in microbiology lab coordination, hygiene validation, or manufacturing process hygiene in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or food industry.
- Experience with ISO *****, ISO ****, and GMP standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is desirable.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coach and lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); Spanish is a plus.
