Objective of the position: Leads a diverse and multi-location professional buyer team who negotiates contracts and coordinates supplier integration plans with internal business partners.
This manager and the team monitor market dynamics that impact materials/services availability and/or pricing.
Partners with internal business partners to identify sourcing needs, develop buyer/market profiles, identify marketplace trends, and define acceptable service levels.
Establishes supplier relationship management processes and continuous improvement goals/programs.

Enforce Daimler Truck legal requirements (e.g. Terms and Conditions).




- Act as first level of escalation for buyers.
Ensure GIP's representations in relevant projects.
- Creative development of negotiation levels.
- Projects: Lead and support projects, for example to continuously enhance GIP's tools, processes and structures.
- Control: Implement and execute appropriate control environment and processes to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and guidelines.
Inform about lacking governance or process deficiencies where identified.
