JOB TARGET:

We are seeking an experienced Tax Specialist to join our Mexico Fin. team. In this role, you will be responsible for the company's day-to-day tax compliance matters, ensuring that all tax filings are accurate and timely. As a key member of the finance team, you will provide tax support for business decision-making.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate tax in Mexico or with a public accounting firm, with a solid understanding of the Mexican tax system.
- In-depth knowledge of Mexican tax laws and familiarity with tax compliance procedures and filing systems
- Proficient in Excel and ERP systems
- Solid understanding of the intersection between accounting and taxation, with the ability to perform tax-to-accounting reconciliations
- Detail-oriented, patient, and hard-working with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong team player with good collaborative spirit.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, with proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing

FUNCTIONS:





- Prepare and file monthly and annual federal and local tax returns, including (IVA), Income Tax (ISR), withholding taxes, and other applicable taxes in Mexico, ensuring full compliance.
- Reconcile and prepare tax calculation workpapers and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness of tax data.
- Monitor changes in Mexican tax regulations, assess their potential impact on the company, and drive internal adjustments accordingly.
- Assist with tax audits and effectively communicate and coordinate with the Mexican tax authority.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required tax documentation and participating in the annual tax audit process
- Maintain and manage tax files
- Forms and reports required by government departments
- Other tasks assigned by manager
